Setting up TimeOff.Management

Step-by-step guide to set up and customise solution to the needs of your company.

Onboarding wizard

Onboarding wizard is a unique feature of our system. It allows to set up company account in 4 easy steps. There is no longer need to go though screen after screen and constantly check manual. Set up is organised in a most efficient way so account can be up in running  in a matter of minutes. After initial onboarding is finished account can be further customised setting to make our solution suit your company needs.

Once you register company account, on the first screen Employee Calendar you can see a button Onboarding. Click on to start your account set up.
Step 1 of onboarding process is to set up basic details about company:
  • Country - select a country where company resides.
  • Timezone - where majority of employees are located.
  • Date format - select preferred date format.
  • Holiday allowance - select default employee allowance. Each employee can have its own allowance, but this one company will use as a base.
Once done please press Save changes and mark step as done to move to the next step.
Step 2 of onboarding process is to quickly add departments and users.

Start by adding departments. Then add users and organise them by departments.
Add new department by filling the pop up form. At the start the supervisor will the person who registered the company on the system. After you add all the users you can simply click on evert department is assign the supervisor from the list of employees.
Once you added departments you can add employees.
Once done please press Save changes and mark step as done to move to the next step.
If you need to add or edit information about employees or departments click on the lick and it will lead to the forms where all necessary changes can be made.
Step 3 of onboarding add leave types and if needed customise bank holidays automatically uploaded based on company country of registration.
Once done please press Save changes and mark step as done to move to the next step.
Step 4 of onboarding add company wide leave policies.
  • Carry over days - number of unused days from the employee's allowance that can be carried over to the next year.
  • Share absence between employee - if this feature is unable employee can see information about everybody's absence regardless of departments.
  • Hide Team View for non-admin users- if this feature is unable Team View page will be available only to admin users.
  • Fractional Leave- If marked all employees are able to book a fractional leave requests. Eg. 25% or 60% of the day.
Once done please press Save changes and mark step as done to move to the next step.
All done!Your company account is up and running.
