🔒 New: Supervisor Override for Leave Booking

Admins can now allow managers and supervisors to book leave on behalf of employees using leave types that are not available for direct employee requests. This provides better control for company-assigned absences such as training, business travel, or special duties. Employees cannot book these leave types themselves, but authorised managers can create them when needed, ensuring accurate records and consistent processes.

📧 New: Watch by Email Notifications

A new “Watch by Email” policy lets admins receive notifications about leave activity for selected employees. You can choose exactly which leave types to follow, so you only receive updates that matter to you. This is ideal for HR, project leads, or senior managers who need visibility without being direct supervisors. Configure it once and stay informed automatically.

🆔 New: Employee Number

Employee numbers are now visible in the Team View user summary popup and can be used to filter the Employees List. This makes it easier to identify staff quickly, especially in larger organisations where names may be similar. Visibility is securely controlled, so employee numbers are only shown to authorised users.

🔐 New: Private Leave Types in Team View

You can now control the visibility of each leave type in Team View. For selected leave types, details can be hidden or shown as generic entries to non-supervisors, protecting employee privacy while keeping managers fully informed. This is especially useful for sensitive leave such as medical, personal, or confidential absences.

🔄 New: Rotational Work Schedules (Rotas)

You can now create rotational schedules using rotas. Instead of a fixed Monday-to-Sunday pattern, define repeating work patterns based on custom day sequences and hours. This is ideal for shift work, healthcare, manufacturing, security, and other teams with non-standard schedules. The updated interface also makes setup easier, letting you choose between a traditional weekly schedule or a rota when creating a new work pattern.

🎉 New: Birthdays & Work Anniversaries in Weekly Digest

The weekly “Who is off” email can now include upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries. Admins can choose whether to show these sections using simple toggle switches in communication preferences. This helps teams stay connected, recognise important moments, and build a stronger workplace culture — all within the same weekly update.

🎂 New: Date of Birth Field for Employees

Employee profiles now include a Date of Birth (DOB) field. This information is securely stored and available within employee details, making records more complete and easier to manage.

📡 New: Company Events in Calendar Feeds

Calendar feeds now include company events and blackout periods when exported to third-party calendars such as Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook. This ensures employees see important non-booking dates alongside their leave in their personal calendars. The feature can be enabled or disabled at company level, giving admins full control over what is shared externally.

👥 New: Multiple Direct Supervisors

Employees can now have multiple direct supervisors instead of just one. This better reflects real-world team structures, where staff may report to more than one manager across projects, departments, or locations. It improves approval workflows, visibility, and communication, ensuring the right supervisors stay informed and can take action when needed.

👀 New: Visibility Group feature for Team View

A new Visibility Group feature gives admins more control over who can see whom in Team View. You can create custom groups using individual employees, whole departments, or locations, so people only see the teams that matter to them. This is ideal for larger organisations, multi-site companies, or businesses that want clearer visibility without showing the full company to everyone.
