⚡ New: Auto-approval policy
Auto-approval is now a policy of its own. Add one, choose who it covers — named employees, departments, locations, roles or the whole company, minus anyone you exclude — and pick which actions it approves the moment they happen: leave requests, leave revocations, a person’s own actions, the ones they take for the employees they manage, or any mix of the four. Limit it to selected leave types, or leave it covering all of them.
It replaces the auto-approve settings that used to sit in Advanced settings, on a leave type and on an employee. Those have been removed, and existing set-ups were converted automatically into policies named Administrators, Supervisors, Auto-approved leave types and Individual auto-approve. Nothing to redo — open them once, check which actions each one auto-approves, then rename, adjust or delete them like any other policy.
New companies start with no auto-approval policies, so nothing is auto-approved until you add one.
Find it under More → Policies → Auto-approval.
