Why did an employee create a new TimeOff company instead of joining our existing account?
An employee should not create a new company account if your organisation already uses TimeOff.Management.
Creating a new company starts a completely separate TimeOff.Management account. It does not connect the employee to your existing company.
How should an employee join our existing company?
First, make sure the employee has been added to your existing TimeOff.Management account.
Then send them a welcome invitation.
Go to:
Employees → Select employee → Employee Details → ⋯ → Send invite email
The employee should follow the instructions in that email to access the company account you have already created.
You can also invite several employees at once using Employees → Invite employees.
What if the employee already had an invitation?
They should use the welcome email or the normal TimeOff.Management login page rather than the company registration page.
If they already have access but cannot sign in, do not create another employee profile or another company account.
Instead, check:
- the email address on their employee profile;
- their configured login method;
- whether they use Email/Password or Google/Microsoft SSO;
- whether their account is still active.
Does the new company automatically connect to our existing account?
No.
A company created through the registration page is a separate company account.
The employee still needs to access the employee profile that belongs to your existing TimeOff.Management company.
